Walking into a new restaurant can feel like a quiz you didn’t study for. What’s good here? How does ordering work? What’s the deal with all these options?
We get it. Here’s the cheat sheet.
How Hibachi Bistro Works
We’re quick casual, which means you order at the counter, grab a number, and we bring your food to you. No waiting for a server, no flagging someone down for the check. It’s the speed of fast food with the quality of a sit-down restaurant.
Most orders take 10-15 minutes. If you’re in a hurry, order online before you arrive and it’ll be ready when you walk in.
What to Order (If You Have No Idea)
Playing it safe? Start with the Hibachi Chicken. It’s our most popular dish for a reason—tender chicken, fresh broccoli, savory sauce. Nothing fancy, just reliably good.
Feeling adventurous? Try a combo plate. You get two proteins (chicken and shrimp is a crowd favorite), which lets you sample more of the menu without committing to one thing.
Sushi curious? The California Roll is a perfect entry point. Mild flavors, familiar ingredients, no raw fish. If you like it, branch out from there.
Watching your carbs? Ask for extra vegetables instead of rice. We’re happy to accommodate.
Insider Tips
The yum yum sauce is free. That creamy pink sauce on the table? It’s there for a reason. Use it liberally.
Lunch specials end at 3 PM. If you’re coming in the afternoon, check the time. The lunch prices are worth hustling for.
Kids eat free on Sundays. If you’ve got little ones, this is the day. One free kids meal per adult entrée purchased, from noon to close.
Our sushi bar is full-service. Don’t overlook it. Both locations have a complete sushi menu that goes way beyond the standard rolls.
The Regulars’ Order
After watching thousands of customers come through, here’s what the regulars tend to get:
- Hibachi chicken with extra yum yum sauce
- A California roll on the side
- Miso soup to start
- Iced tea
It’s not glamorous, but there’s a reason people keep coming back to it.
